Our Mission
We are a church that is centered on Christ, anchored in the Scriptures, and empowered by the Spirit. Our mission comes from Jesus’ great commandment in Matthew 22:36-40 and His great commission in Matthew 28:18-20:

Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Andrew White joined Calvary Baptist Church Brevard as its pastor in August 2023.
Andrew grew up as the child of a pastor and missionary, preparing him for his calling in life and ministry. He lived in Belize, Florida, and Mississippi during his childhood.
Andrew earned two master’s degrees from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has served as an associate pastor at churches in Virginia, North Carolina, and Texas. He also planted and pastored a church in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Andrew and his wife Carmen have been married for 15 years and have two sons—Wesley and Noah.
Andrew is a Jesus-follower, husband, father, reader, writer, traveler, baseball and soccer fan, dog owner, taco enthusiast, and committed coffee snob.
Meet Our Leaders
We believe the biblical model for a church is to be ruled by Jesus, led by elders, and served by deacons. Therefore, Calvary is in the process of becoming an elder-led church. Check back soon for updates.
Calvary is served by seven deacons: Patrick Scott (chairman), James De La Riva, Jim Felty, Larry Gasperson, Randy Salter, Nick Siniard, and TJ Souther.
