There are so many ways that you can be a part of serving at Calvary, and we would love to help you find your place.
We believe in a team-based approach to whole-church ministry. Serving on a ministry team is a great way to use your spiritual gifts for the good of the church and our city.

Ministry Teams
ROOTED TEAMS
The Deacons serve the church by meeting practical needs, taking care of administrative tasks, promoting unity, assisting the elders in ministry, and advancing the mission of the church.
The Safety Team works to give members and visitors a safe and secure place of worship. They strive to provide a place where parents know their children are being taken care of effectively and they are able to worship without worry, a place where if there is a medical emergency we can assist those in need until authorities arrive, and a place where our God can be worshiped freely and God’s Word is preached from the Bible without fear of retribution.
The Building and Grounds Team takes care of the church properties. They maintain and manage the physical upkeep of the buildings and surrounding areas to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable while on the grounds.
The Finance Team acts as stewards for church financial matters. They are in charge of budget planning and management. They work together with the church's leadership to develop and evaluate the annual budget, ensuring that funds are available and distributed wisely to support the ministry and mission of the church.
GROWING TEAMS
The Discipleship Team works with other ministry teams to establish and facilitate a culture of spiritual growth, biblical depth, and participation in the Great Commission. They oversee Equipping Classes, Community Groups, and other discipleship-focused ministries, including providing support and resources for the Worship Team & Next Generation Team.
The Worship Team selects and performs music and provides audio, visual, and technological resources for corporate worship. The Worship Team oversees the worship band and the media ministry.
The Next Generation Team serves children from birth to college age and wants to see children come to know Christ and be Biblically discipled, to consistently grow in Christ, and serve Him. This is done through Sunday School hour teachings and nursery during service time as well as other times throughout the week.
MULTIPLYING TEAMS
The Community Team connects with people. They welcome guests into the family and help people take their next step at Calvary. They plan events, oversee the greeters, and work closely with the Hospitality Team.
The Hospitality Team hosts events, prepares meals, and welcomes guests. They work in cooperation with the Community Team to promote a hospitable and welcoming church culture.
The Missions Team works with all ministry teams to establish and grow a missional culture and help Calvary Baptist Church participate in the Great Commission. They manage and maintain local and global outreach projects and partnerships and promote, plan, and recruit for mission and outreach opportunities.
